Scope of Cyted’s laboratory services 

Cyted Ltd is an UKAS accredited ISO 15189 laboratory that works with other UKAS accredited laboratories to provide an end-to-end capsule sponge diagnostic service to our customers. Cyted specialises in the expert interpretation and reporting of results, while our partner laboratory, Cyted UK Ltd (UKAS #9923), now part of Backlogs, carries out the processing (examination activities) of capsule sponge samples.

We uphold strict standards of quality and competence in accordance with ISO 15189:2022 standards.

Laboratory Complaint Policy 

Our laboratory is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. We encourage feedback and take all complaints seriously. Complaints can be submitted via email quality@cytedhealth.com or by phone +44 1223 737 800. 

Each complaint will be acknowledged within 1 business day and investigated as required. We aim to resolve all complaints within 10 business days however some may take longer. Corrective actions will be implemented as necessary, and the complainant will be informed of the outcome. Our goal is to continuously improve our services, ensure the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction, and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
